baz69 Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 i can now say : im an official forum member and galaxy owner :) , at last, ive bought alimited edition 1997 Galaxy ultima 2.8 cdv6, finished in mica stone with full leather interior, im quite pleased with it but got a few bits to sort ,only got 1 key which has no buttons on, so central lockin not workin, passenger footwell is a bit wet, and my front heater fan wont blow at all, niggling faults but all can be sorted, the first one to fix is the fan cos the screen mists up like nobodies business, all part of the fun of owning a galaxy i suppose lol Quote

The Inhibitor Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 Excellent Baz... Clean out those Fred scuttles, remove leaves crud etc. etc, and put a sump pump under both seats ASAP.,and if it's auto, take apart the brain and dry it out. Always good advice for this time of year.. Happy motoring !" Oh and I prefere Mica Paris on my Leather seats if possible! Quote
TimsBamma Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Looks good in your other post. A thought, if passenger footwell is damp and central locking is stuffed could it be the old rear wash pipe disconnected and flooding the ECU under the passenger seat? Good luck fixing it all. Tim Quote
