katman Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Why are they called "SPOILERS" when people use them to "IMPROVE" the look if their cars ??? Surely they should be called Improvers !!! Having said that, a few years ago there was a Mk3 Escort driving round here with a Cosworth Sierra spoiler on the back and that did nothing to improve the looks !!!! Quote

Having said that, a few years ago there was a Mk3 Escort driving round here with a Cosworth Sierra spoiler on the back and that did nothing to improve the looks !!!! anyone with a cosworth spoiler on any car other than a cosworth doesn't look right, i think they are could spoilers for the fact that the spoil the air around them thus improving high speed stability i suppose. ;) Quote
