Heated Screen

The heated screen only works on a strip about 3inches wide, is this a bad connection or do I need a new screen?

its a real pain because the heater controls are stuck on face vents, and the screen mists up in seconds!

National windscreens fitted a new one and done a good job and it doesnt leak
