Which Wires Are The Speakers?

iv got an install in progress, and i could do with knowing, which wires in the B pillar (the one which the drivers seat belt fixes to) are the ones that go to the speaker in the door.

 

i was hoping that ours being a zetec, and the only electrics in the door was the speaker, the wiring loom would have had only two wires.

 

BUT there's a good few wires (8 at a guess).

 

so the question is, which wire do i cut? (well, splice into)

 

i also need to know what the wires are for the passenger side is.

 

i know i can test them, but i run out of sunlight :lol:

is they really around 8 wires on the speaker block on 4 on my ghia galaxy :rolleyes:

The wires for the rear passenger door speakers on both sides are RED and BROWN & RED where they leave the connector in/near the rubber boot between the door frame and the door. :rolleyes: Andy.

i will continue my install on weds, and the 1st job on the list is to splice into them wires and feed it to a hi-lo converter.

Good luck with ya install, what are you putting in, or are you just upgrading your speakers?

...well, not really,,, im doing a car computer install, complete with an upgraded audio system.

 

its only about 25% complete so far, but when its finished i will be doing a thread, that will talk you through it, as there doesn't seem to be anything like that on the forum.
