Dave_Glasgow Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Hi everyone, Dave from Glasgow here. I have a 2001 Galaxy Ghia TDi that I've owned from new, but only just found this site today! I found it by snorfling around Google for a solution to a problem, and looks like the forum lists it, so I'm chuffed. Looks like a great site, so I'll familiarise myself with it and see what everyone else is doing to their Galaxies!! I really look forward to reading as many posts as possible. Quote

Dave_Glasgow Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 Thanks everyone. I'm not a forum newbie as such, just here I'm glad to say! The Galaxy is more my wife's car, although I love it. Generally it's been a dream to own, no niggles, no grief and minimal servicing. Just lately I have an air con problem but seem to have found the most obvious resolution on the forums, hopefully! Quote

I drive a 5 series BM, but love the Galaxy. Great for loading all the kids and heading off on an adventure, and still getting >30 mpg!!! We've had the car since new, done 42k miles just, and whilst the vain bit of me wants to trade it on for the new one, the fact is it's still in great shape, drives well and does exactly what we want from it. I'm a real fan. Quote
