Checking through the full service history I can find no record of a cambelt change. :rolleyes: :D I popped into the dealer concerned and he too could find no record of the belt being changed (and couldn't care a toss about it either!). Suffice to say I am going elsewhere for my (overdue) 90K service. kevinp Posted November 17, 2003 Author Report Posted November 17, 2003 Replying to your own posting - how sad can you get! Cambelt was replaced OK. Original one (VW part no.) had 3 small cracks in it but not as bad as I had expected. Feel better now. :) Quote
