oafcowl Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Last week the diesel/engine management light was flashing, the last time it did this I had a brake bulb out so I xhexked this but all the bulbs were OK. I checked the brake light pedal switch wis located on the brake pedal and still nothing, so I thought I may as well change the switch as process of elimination. I took my self off to buy one from frauds but on the way to the dealers , the engine management light went out and the brake lights started to work!, until today. Do you think I should change the pedal switch? I have checked the fuses and they are ok, What does any one else think?.Cheers  Quote
NikpV Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 could easily be an intermittent fault on the switch - might as well change it  Quote
Jimbo73 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I had the same problem about 3 weeks ago... And with me not being to good with cars i sprayed it with wd40..... the old magic spray worked a treat.... Quote
