Taliska Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 A bit stupid isn't it if it can't handle more than just over 4 days worth of data! Or have i misunderstood something? Well, depends on how much you drive - it is the driving time. I've only done ~5900 miles since October and it has reset once so I've done 166 hours so far - if you work that once out it's an appallingly low average speed! (mid 30s ish). So for some (and probably most) users, the 100 hours limit is fine. Now what do the real company mile-munching drivers have to say? Taliska P.S. Ha, SeatKid types faster than me! Quote
iainkirk Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Dally, What I actually MEANT to say was I'd not pressed the reset button on 2 for 15000 miles...it did indeed appear to re-set at about 10000 miles (and again when Mr. Orange fitted my hands-free kit), but consistently settles down at around 34.8mpg...something to do with my repetitive journeys I guess - 1000 miles per week typically! Guest Turbo Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 All this could go on for ever ! I have just been to Workington, from Carlisle (8 year old sons football game, an away game ) and back and sat between 50 and 60 mph. My 1999, TDi 110 bhp Galaxy returned 46 mpg. Oh and my son, Callum is goalie and was man of the match, but we lost, 10-0 I think !! ( it could have been 11 actually but lost count a bit). Quote
iainkirk Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Crikey, a fellow Carlislian (is that what we're called???) !!! Quote
seatkid Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 99.9 mpg going downhill  but not so good going uphill :) Have you noticed when you start, even when hot, (and you reset the computer), how the first few fuel figures are very low and they build up the correct figure over 2 - 3 miles. e.g. first figure about 6mpg, then 11,14 etc. suggests that the calculation isn't quite right in that initial period. iainkirk Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Hadn't noticed that one on tripcomputer in Facelift version. I can get 199mpg downhill tho! Quote
Guest Turbo Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Iain, most people probably regard us as Scottish us Carlisians ! Quote
