So far i have walked round tesco and asda car parks whacking them on Shazzas, Bammas and galaxys.Even got the kids to do it.Now they yell theres one when ever we see one! :blink: :10:

 

 

Reminds me..for those that would like flyers to hand/dish out..please contact either myself or Hairy. ^_^

Aye ... it's the kids job now too ... don't earn their pocket money until they have put flyers on at least 10 shalaxys a week ... including the 3 year old!!!

Bit of both. If the owner's there I've handed them to them, if not it goes under the wiper.

Taken from the BBC website:

 

"Although there is no need to obtain a licence or certificate to hand out leaflets, there may be some restrictions on where you can hand them out, so check the bylaws at the town hall. The police may also move you on if you appear to be causing an obstruction."

 

Another good website is HERE with lots of legal advice regarding leafleting. The conclusion states:

 

"Leafleting is a basic right of expression and your right to leaflet is well guarded in law. This will, however, not stop various authorities from trying to take it from you.

 

If you know the law then you can out argue them easily enough, If they still insist on taking away your rights illegally, then make sure you take action to stop them and protect your freedom of expression."

 

Basically, it states that you have the right to leaflet providing you don't obstruct the highway, traspass or cause criminal damage while leafleting. All of this is described quite clearly in the above site, stating legal case to back it up.

:) I think you would be safe in most counties handing out leaflets for this site!...It may only be a problem if you put one on an Espace! :)

Yes, that used to be the letter of the law. However, pick up a newspaper/magazine these days, and unless it's a 'quality' product, you'll be unlikely to find any information about the printer...

i have been thinking...yes i know its dangerous..but i took the risk anyway.....(took out insurance first i must add for third party fire and theft.)
