moved house in September this year for a new job. Unfortunately I only have space for one car on my drive so my beloved Sharan has to go as I now have a company car.

 

VW Sharan VR6 Carat 1996 'N' Silver metallic

 

144,000 miles, last service at 133,000. Loads of bills for work done on it. MOT and TAX till end November. Coachwork still very good, some stone chips on bonnet. 6 seats, grey velour. Pirelli P6 tyres, still good for at least 6000 miles. Cd Changer, roof mount monitor and DVD (DVD player needs a fuse) Stamps in the book up to 110,000, since then I serviced myself. It has had a new ribbed belt and new tensioner, new coil pack (see previous posts, you can get an idea on what has been replaced) Replaced thermostat housing and thermostat around 2 months ago. Used daily from my wife, runs like a dream. 5 sp manual. Engine and gearbox run really smoothly.

 

Work needed:

Heater matrix blew, so I bypassed it. Inner CV boot, needs new aircon pipe. When I bypassed the matrix, It took me around 5 hours to take out and fully replace the dashboard, it isnt as much work as some make out.
