dipsomaniac Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 bearing failure seems to be the most common problem with the compressor. i was told that the bearing could be replaced but that it would only be a short term (6 month) fix as the bearing failure would have adversely worn other parts. recon unit was Quote

MrT Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 When I said in this thread earlier that the hyperlink function was not working in IE7, what I was referring to was when you are replying, you click on the "Insert Link" in the toolbar, (picture of the World with the paper clip on it) which used to bring up a dialog box asking you the enter the title then the URL (or the other way around), now when I click on the icon it brings up an message box saying "Error, You must enter a title. You must enter a URL". Typing in a URL into the message and clicking on it to navigate there works. Navigating from other peoples URLs in a message works, I just cannot use the "Insert Link" tool anymore. Quote

I get a drop down bar at the top of the browser window when insterting hyperlinks saying "click here to allow scripted windows" Clicking the bar gives an option to temporarily allow scripted windows where you can enter the link details. You should be able toc change IE7 so that it permanently allows scripted windows in the Tools/Internet Options window, but I haven't had time to play around with all the options yet  Hairy Plate Eater = Pray! NikpV Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 one way would be to add this site to your trusted site list and make sure the custom settings allow scripted windows - umm not sure I would but better than allowing scripted windows generally Quote
