El Dingo Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Nodes have an effect too. It's not just the length of an exhaust or the diameter. This is interesting... http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:0Uzp_...en&ct=clnk&cd=4 Quote
Guest dannyboy Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 look up powerflow on the net and they may be able to fabricate a stainless steel system for you with a "tuneable" tailpipe, as tim says it most probably wont affect your performance but you can have it sound how you want and have a lifetime warranty on it for around Quote
renamecor Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 There are always restrictions with standard exhausts over performance for a number of reasons. Milltek do an aftermarket exhaust for the mk2 sharan that releases a shed load of power on its own without any other mods, just shows how restrictive the original must be. Quote
andy m Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 hi, as this topic is bought up again, I'll add to it. I've just had a powerflow (cat back) fitted to my mk2 gal , 2.3 auto and it is a nice piece of kit, was quite pricey but I think worth it Quote
tim-spam Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 ... a shed load of power ...Does that mean 1 bhp or perhaps as much as 2 ? Quote
