I am looking to upgrade my single CD unit to an in-dash 6 CD unit. I want to stick with OEM but now have a choice because of the Sony units offered as an option for the later Double Din units as fitted to my C- Max. Most Sony units on Ebay are going for about

i thought all ford hu had key codes

i would be very carefull m8

 

also had a 6 disc unit in my focus

 

it was a load of rubbish,fords kept trying to fix it

but cds kep getting stuck

I wouldn`t have another 6006........discs getting stuck, reading errors, etc

 

Mine was only 17 months old too!!

After further enquires it seems as though the unit has the code supplied with it but does not need it, it just starts up as normal when the power is connected and doesn't ask for the code???? :D Andy.
