NikpV Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Norton utilities used to be great in the good ole days of Dos 3, 5 windows 3.0 but now their products have become so flakey they have to give them away, either with new computers or in special offers in places such as PC world, the only piece of their software I have is Ghost for lack of a decent alternative, when they bought out powerquest (partition magic and DI) acronis trueimage etc but ghost is still there. The other thing I dislike about Norton is the lengths you have to go to do a complete uninstall  Quote

Now have a Netgear firewall router and McAfee - upgraded Java and straight in... :D I used to use something called Drivel Mage? It's now called Ghost, and I agree with your sentiments. Quote
