hiflexjohn Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 ah great.in the ford rom it only mentions a tranny, looks as if its a common fault.what about the temp gauge? dodgy sender unit? and now for a real annoying question,i got hold of some nice granny wheels, 5 stud with a pcd of 112,but the bore is slightly diff,do i need special alloy wheel bolts as the standard locking bolts fit steel wheels as well? has any one fitted grannny wheels on? galaxy wheels seem quite rare and are going for a fortune on ebay Quote
Guest HairyPlateEater Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Hi there, welcome to the forum! Again, a search in the Customising your Car section will reveal all the information you will need relating to correct PCD, offsets etc as lots of members have upgraded their alloys. Just hit the search button at the very top right of the page underneath the middle picture of the Galaxy. Cheers Paul Quote
hiflexjohn Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 cheers for that, just had a look,no mention of bolt changes, though i havent gone right through yet, Quote
Guest HairyPlateEater Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I know if you want to put MK2 alloys on the MK1 you have to use the longer MK2 bolts. Could be the same with Granada alloys but I dont know for sure. Quote
Guest VR6! Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 If the center bore is the wrong size you will need to find an adaptor! or the rims wont center correctly! Quote
