Spare Rear Door Support Strut

Hi all

I have tried loads of salvage yards today but no success in sourcing a rear door support strut. The rear soor is so heavy I am having to hold it up by hand as the other strut cant cope on its own. Anyway any idea on the price of a new one and anyone else have one fail. I went to close the tailgate and the damn thing had obviously locked/seized and snapped the bit it screws into in the process.

 

Also does anyone know which fuse/relay is for the reversinf lamps. Cant get them to work AGAIN and can't remember how I fixed it last time. I think you helped out here FredT.
