Guest armstrongrv Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I have a 2001 1.9 TDI 115 and have noticed that it is running rough on tick over and is worse at 1000 RPM. I have just changed the air and fuel filter and have added injector cleaner and it still runs the same. I have looked through listings and see people talking about the MAF sensor, is this the sensor after the air filter? And could this be the problem? Regards Richard Quote

The car drives ok and there seems to be no power loss. Any Ideas? Quote
anadin Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 check the clear pipe before the pump, make sure theres no air getting in , it could also still be injector related but i would suggest vag-com before you throw money at it Quote
Andrew T Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Did you buy your last tank of fuel somewhere different to usual? could it be contaminated in someway? Quote
tim-spam Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 There is no clear plastic pipe on the Mk II AFAIK. However, there is an electric pump in the fuel tank - perhaps this may be the problem? Quote
