Has anyone gone to put their wipers on and had them stop? The only way to get them going again is to switch the ignition off and pull the drivers wiper towards you with the ignition on, then back to the stop position. It seems the fault on mine was where the wipers attach to. By removing both wipers and sealing washers I sprayed WD40 into the casings and then used a thin oil. So far they are working alright. While that far on with the job I removed the plastic panel that goes along the bulkhead and sprayed all the joints. While doing this I also waxoyled in around the strut top and bits further back, but why is the washer "cup" shaped on the top of the strut because both sides were full of water. I looked at another Galaxy and it was the same. You would think a plastic push-on cover would have been fitted over it or a different shaped washer.

Are you serious ? Is there an ECU that really does monitor current ? I just find this incredibly hard to believe. If it does you would think that it would have several attempts to restart the wipers rather than just giving up at the first sign of trouble.
