Hi all yesterday my wipers were ok then today went out in car started raining and they would not work, Has anyone got ant sugestions are there any relay fuses that might have blown and how can I check them out.

John do they move at all when you try them or is there no movement at all.

 

Siezed spindles are common but I thought that was confined to later cars than yours.

 

I had the same problem as you, same year car, but mine would jump about 2 inches at a time each time I tried to use them, all the way to the top then back again.

 

This turned out to be the control module that is located by the wiper mechanism and is connected to the wiper motor via a loom.
