Guest neil_wiles Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Sarah It is possible for a throttle body to play up however it is more than likely the fault is in the pedal unit and this is telling the throttle body to shut down. The stepper motor that controls the throttle can be faulty and is one area of investigation but I would ask him to check out the Throttle position sensor first then the pedal sensor then finally the motor onthe throttle body itself. Guest sarah Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006  THANK YOU VERY MUCH DONE THE CHECKS BUT EVERY THING IS POINTING TO THE THROTTLE BODY IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN RECON THEM THANKS Quote
Sharanfx Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Clean the throttle body and with a carb cleaner and remove any build up of deposits. Then try to re-adapt the throttle-body using a computer to set up the basic settings. Quote
