Guest stumpy Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 hi sorry have read throuh the faq's but not sure if it is the wire deteriation in door shuts. problem- when unlocking the drivers door the car unlocks and windows go down without holdig the key in the unlock position. The key unlocks and locks the door by turning the key the same way. Also both rear dors lock , unlock then relock after the key has been turned. so far i have tryed- 1- removing all door cards and isolating each lock in turn from system but no change 2- pluged front passenger side motor and lock to try no change 3- When i repaced the passenger side rear courtesy light switch the front windows went up when pressed 4- changed cam switch on drivers door lock help please ??stumpy :lol: Quote

Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere? try the usual suspects! either the door looms as you have already suggested and then take a look at the central locking ECU under the passenger seat! if fitted? as I hear it's been raining a bit lately in the UK! yours sitting in 60F sunshine enjoying a cold beer :lol: Quote
