So, apart from being only 3" tall, he is also 98 (degrees). (Possibly Farenheit, but who knows?). Not many people know this, but the name Gooner comes from Rajasthan, and means 'Gurner'. A bit like Jodhpur, Verandah, and other such words that were adopted into English. Gooner is well known on the Gurning scene, and has won awards. Like 'Best Banana Face 1902', 'Most likely to be hit by a custard pie 1915' and 'Gor blimey, that nearly gone and knocked my socks orf, and I ain't even been ta California 1933'. Quote

This isn't to run all of the car based electrical accessories he has, it's to power the on board pot noodle making machine he's had to fit to feed his snack based freeze dried food product addiction. While trying to hold those blue balls on sticks and running then side to side on the dashboard, it made his arms very tired indeed. Naturally the balls dropped frequently, and much swearing ensued. Of course, if he had been a real professional, like Tom Hanks (who was rumoured to be interested in the part), it would have been 'in the can' in no more than two takes at most. Dennis Norden is said to be interested in seeing the rushes for material that he can use in 'It'll Be Alright On The Night 113'. Quote
mumof4 Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 El Dingo (aka "woofy") ... was the stunt director for the original motion picture Lassie......It was his job to ensure that lassie knew all his moves..(yes his..as Lassie was really a boy doggy!!!), sometimes woofy had to actually do the stunt himself to show Lassie how to acheive the results expected of him. :) Quote

So, in that bit where, as Honey Rider, she walks out of the sea singing 'Underneath the coconut tree, my honey and me', it was actually the actress that played Sid James's wife in 'Bless This House' who did the singing. Well, Ursula also had really bandy legs. So much so, that they had to employ a bit part actress called 'Maz Da Carr' to provide the leggy bits. And very nice they are too. They were so pleased, they let her take home one of the stunt cars, a Renault La Gooner. Or maybe they just let her take home the CD player. Or something like that. :rolleyes: Quote

Well that's what mumof4 does all day (when she's not on here) She sits and shaves badgers nadgers to make shaving brushes. She also works part time as a Mouse Gelder - using her teeth.
