mikej Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Can anyone describe the running conditions of a diesel that may suggest a maf sensor issue , ie what actually happens to the vehicle once this sensor has died or faulty .How does the vehicle run , pull , tick over is there any issue with the fuel consumption and is there a noticable difference when plugged in /unplugged etcthanks in advance all ;) mike....... Do a search theres a wealth of stuff on the MAF. One way to test is to disconnect it - you should find the motor is gutless and crawls up hills - if it makes no difference then it's either gone or it's OK!!. The first thing to do would be to understand why you need to know. Do you have a problem? Quote
