I never got chance to read them all..as there were so many and it takes so long for them to load for me at the mo as my bb is not back on till the 16th. :wacko:....So i just gave up and checked the techy ones instead.

Unless they are offensive you have to be a bit of a Victor Meldrew to want to peeps stop posting jokes.

 

Agreed there are far too many different posts just post them all in one joke thread.

Doesn't matter if they are repeats or not really that funny, skip it and read the next one.

 

As I have said before this forum seems to jump from one critisism of a member to another whether it is their

technical guidance tips/opinions,

fundraisng/meeting organisation efforts

speeding whilst towing (apparently)

and now joke telling.....c'mon.

 

If that's all that people have got to moan about they have got too much time on their hands.

I think..if i have got this right......no one wants to stop jokes being posted...i have a right laugh with them and i know i dont want them to stop and once my BB is back on line i shall be reading all the ones i missed.

 

I think what started this off was just the suggestion that the jokes instead of new threads being started for each one..they just all be in the one thread.

 

No one is critisising anyone as far as i can tell..but since my brain is half dead at the mo from checking wires..i may have missed a post where someone has.

 

So no..dont stop posting the jokes...when im down they cheer me up and at the mo that is quite often...

What do you mean hides all the jokes? if we need to read them we can just buy back issues of maxim or FHM as most of the stuff you post is in them or has done the rounds at the local primary school months earlier!

pointless? yep, about as pointless as having thirty topics on the active topics screen, all with you name on them, where as one topic would do the job!

Ignoring the question about the quality of the jokes it is much easier to read as a single thread, how about a compromise start a new thread each day and put all that days jokes in it - that way the 'view new posts screen' has your name on it but is not swamped by single post threads ???
