Ivor_E_Tower Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Is your coolant getting hot (can you get warm air from the vents)? If so, it is probably the temp sensor screwed into the engine that's faulty. If you don't get any heat from the vents, then it is almost certainly the thermostat that's gone. Quote
Guest Tony_abw60 Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Hi IvorYes my heating is ok no problem there.Thx I'll check out the sensor.I just wondered if the engine was getting hot enough.Done 200 miles round trip mainly motorways and A roads over the weekend, mpg around 30-31 not sure if that is ok for a 2ltr, I hoped for a bit more than that.Tony Quote
