Guest seacam Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I wasn't sure where in the forum I should place this question. For some reason, even after requesting so in my threads/posts, I do not receive e-mail notifications of replies, I do not have this problem with other forums. Is there something I am not doing correctly. Quote

I didn't realise I had to do anything in control, I thought it was just a question of ticking the box requesting e-mail notifications at the end of a post. Quote
NikpV Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 thats all it should be but it can sometimes be a bit flakey :) Quote

Guest seacam Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Hello, Is there anything I can do to improve e-mail notifications to myself. Nic says it's a bit flakey but why the hit & miss, it's hard to keep track of threads or posts. Quote
mumof4 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Hmm..ive never bothered with notifications myself..i just hit the new posts button and peruse the contents. As 4 why it is hit and miss...no idea Quote

As 4 why it is hit and miss...no idea Where would I be without Mum :D Thanks. I'm feeling stupid again, so doing that will always show any new replies, now why couldn't I figure that out for myself. :( I can't find an embarrased smiley, is there one cos I'm going to need one.? So next question, what does the smiley with the black face mask on supose to represent. Quote
Guest HairyPlateEater Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 black mask smilie is for fear (ph34r) it's when you need to hide after making a post you may be flamed for (google flaming if not sure what this is) Comes in handy often on the telling lies thread in this section! Quote
