foxyfowler Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 The temperature gauge in my 2001, 115PS Galaxy has been rock solid on 90 since new. Over the past few months it has been reading anywhere between 50 and 90, and in the last few days stays hard over on the left! I suspect the sensor unit and wish to replace it. Can anyone confirm where it is? I think that it is fitted on the left hand side of the radiator (viewed from fronty of car) about halfway down..is this correct? I have been used to them being fitted on the main engine block in the past??!! Any suggestions welcomed........... Quote

I expect that it probably in a similar place...haven't been able to check it yet as I have damaged my back and am now flat out in bed for a while. Have you or anyone else had to change one? Is it reasonable easy and does the radiator need to be drained first? Quote
