Guest HairyPlateEater Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Bloody Hell BJ ... took your time to research your reply there didnt you lol :D And all you've done is exemplify my point .... ntl telewest is more british than BT!! And the reason they have spent Quote
Guest gooner52 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 ntl no way lol  :D sky and bt everytime but i have my reasons :D :P :D :D Quote
Bigjeeze Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Most of your BT "Facts" are wrong - I also think you may have slightly miscalculated the number of employees NTL has in the UK. More like 6400 than 64,000! :D Whatever way you cut it - NTL is no way British - BT is wholly and totally British. Quote
Guest HairyPlateEater Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Ok - firstly BT's core network is totally fibre - and that was the main thrust of the investment - so your point is wrong. The 21Cn is not about fibre but about IP it's intention is to transform the entire BT UK & International Network network to an IP platform with all TDm switches replaced. NTL's network is TDM not IP Hybrid or otherwise. BT's network is NOW fibre .... thats the point I was making ... but they had to spend Quote
