meet ideas thread

This post is for the moderators to have a gander at first, although feel free to chip in with any suggestions.

 

Would this spreadsheet be of any use to help organise meets?

 

Obviously it is not finished.

 

Just wondered whether peeps would be able to access/use/update it.

 

Any help/suggestions/improvements very welcome

 

When a descision is finalised I will put it together.

I was just putting together a spreadsheet of regions and members ... bit like the list above. When back in work tonight I'll post it here and people can add themselves to it, save it and add it to their post.

 

If we're getting organised about regional sections, would it be advantageous to have a new sub forum for the different regions? Save post getting lost in the General Discussion section?

 

Any graphics work that needs doing I'll be more than happy to do it. Qualified Graphic Designer and curently running own part time web design business, so am happy to help out in those areas.

while ideas are being thrown around. Any plans for an annual national meet. Maybe hosted by a different region each year so that those not prepared to travel too far for a national will get the chance to get to one at some point.

Last time i suggested that loads of peeps put their names down but dropped out for one reason or another.

 

Hopefully..with all this organisation now, it will go ahead..but for next year.

 

I think ..a national meet could be held in the midlands maybe????..that way it could be huge..if sep regions hosted..could be a weekend event?with games etcc organised?????..we need an ideas thread......hmmm....

Another idea that has been rattling around my empty 'ead was maybe a club trackday? Feedback on that thought welcome. And I have found somewhere that could do the sticker in a removable "inside window" format if there is any interest.

In that case, if I could have the relevent design files (if available) if not I can come up with a new design and will then proceed to have a number made
