Problem was starter motor.

Its Automatic, New Battery, even tried charging it incase. No sign of power loss as all lights internal and external working normally, just wont click when trying to start. V6 doesn't have a Relay 30!!!, looking more like a immobiliser problem. Having to take it to a main dealer unfortunately, not looking forward to the bill!!!

no swimming pool and tried putting my foot on the brake whilst trying to start it, so i don't think its a gearbox problem.

R reg V6 galaxy not starting, just using key to lock/unlock without remote. Intermittent problem last couple of weeks where it seems to be a immobliser problem in that when i unlock the car and try starting... nothing, sometimes the dials go anticlockwise. Have to get out lock, unlock and start again, more often it takes a couple of times before it starts, have to reset radio when dials go anticlock wise. Last two days its decided not to start at all. Usual dashboard lights come on but the car won't start at all, dials not even going anticlock wise as normal. Tried using the red key to start but again nothing. The night before i moved the car a couple of yards without any problems. Any ideas, Thanks.
