Hi Ron, Thanks for the posting. I am going through a similar experience. The key is finding a "finding a competant and honest speciaist". My first attempt to find such a person failed -
Advice from Honest John (www.honestjohn.co.uk) is to run air conditions at lowest setting for 10 minutes and then at max setting for 10 minutes each month. I alway believe Honest John as he writes in the Daily Telegraph evey Saturday ;)
Great idea. A few things I would add to the list are: Condition of wiper mechanism - is it about to stick Evidence that timing belt and tension pulleys? had been changed Check/ask if motor has been involved in crash Air conditioning - does it need regassed
Kids woke at 6am - reasonable for a 16/14 year olds :lol: Wife woke at 4am :wacko: she is still young at heart. Presents opened, church visited, wrapping recycled and turkey in oven all by 10am. Hi Raymac The Gal is a second car. We only use it when all the kids (3 of them) travel with parents and we need luggage space or 'demilatised zones' between the kids :)
