Hi all. Brand new member so be gentle with me. :P Got exactly same problem with the no heat from vents in car even on hi heat and overheating only when car is driven at high speed or with vigour! I have a 2002 1.9 TDI ghia. Already had the car in to Fraud who ran a diagnostic check, cleared a lot of previously stored codes including 5 over heat temp fault codes then returned it to me with the advice to keep an eye on it! Judging by all the other post's I have searched it would point to the water pump. The car is on 120000 miles so due a cam belt anyway so I'm going to bite the bullet and have it all done.
