a part had burnt out on mine so i bought it off ebay. everything works but the speedo reads faster than it should . the wheels are the correct size. took the car to the garage and they say it might not be compatible with the car , so i was to try and change just the speedo's over and it should work . the part numbers are the same .

my speedo is reading about 20 miles faster than it should , how can i get it to read right .can it be repaired or do i need a new one? thanks claire my car is a galaxy n reg 2l
