Just to add - it is like a hot plastic smell.

Hi, I have recently sorted out an overheating problem that was due to the waterpump on a Galaxy 2000 Tdi. However, since it has overheated, we get a burning smell from the heater whenever hot or warm air is selected. It is OK on cold only so the smell appears to be from the matrix? Any ideas? Has the heater been damaged? Many thanks. Humax.
