Yea i does need a service but im not sure where to take it i feel ford dealers charge alot alot of money for services...was hopeing to take it to a small local garage who looks after my mk 2 mondeo but am unsure whether he would be able to as of the onboard comp climate controll and such :/ O.o how much are u guys paying for services.

So i have a MK2 GaL 52 plate 2.3 Ghia and its black.This is a silly question really but my bro in law swears blind that this car is a limited addition becouse of the colour (i love the colour) i however belive he is wrong big time, i would love it if he is right(dont know why but i would like it) anyway could someone confirm for me that this car is not a limited addition thanx for u help.

My Gal mk2 2.3 simply drinks the juice im talking 18mpg in town driving and goes upto about 28 on motor way but still my friend owns a bmw z3 3.0 turbo injection and gets better consumption grrrrrr

it was the fuse for the onboard computer but not the stereo hmmm dunno what the prob is and changing the fuses is about all i got before i get stumped lol

My stereo is the orginal that came with the car mk2 gal 2.3 ghia and it has a cd changer in the back...so sorry to be stupid but i dont understand cars at all :/ can some plz give me some idea of what it might be i would really apriciate it if u could help.

so my Mk2 Gal's onboard computer has simply gone blank as has the stereo which is the one that came with the car if it helps my gal is a manual 2.3 ghia 52 plate plz help im sooo rubbish with cars its untrue :unsure:

Im so,so,so bad with anything cars so i thought id ask you guys if i got a ok deal when i bought my gal last week its a 2.3 manual ghia 52 plate black has some scratches on the doors kinda thing you would expect from a used car imo :/ the alloys are a messy to be fair some scatches and scuffs.....4 new tyres though and a 10 pence piece size bit of rust on the bonnet (which i intend to get fixed) Full sevice history,44,000on the clock and inside is in perfect condition and the car has 10months MOT :16: but no tax :angry2: ok think thats all the info you should need ..i hope anyway and i payed 5.5k i have looked it up before and after buying the car and it seems i got a good deal just thought id ask you guys also. any opinions would be great ..

yeah in the trade most things from soups to souces have a basic set of vegtables that starts it of this is onion,carrot,celery and leek all chopped small like u would for your onions sweat these off u could add a bit of garlic if u like now add ur mince and carry on as u normally would you have some nice flavours with the wine and toms but i dont see u have any stock homemade is best but to do that right i can take upto 2 days :/ so i use the pastes u find in the refrigorator section in most supermarkets there exelent but a good old oxo would do,,real chillis also will work a treat remembers the smaller they are the hotter they are at the very end season with salt and pepper it really does wonders for the flavour,some ppl swear by adding some coco powder to there chilli iv never tried it but feel free just remember i said coco powder not hot chocolate powder O.o and tobasco souce if u wanna crank it up a bit more.Hope this helps

Ok for onion gravy just use alot of onion and be sure to sweat them off (cook on a low heat) in the frying pan for like 10 mins(onions should start to go translusant) then add the thiner than usual gravy which will thicken up after u bring it to the boil and simmer for another 5-10 mins..i hate mushrooms but love the flavour they add to a gravy or souce so pop some of them in with the onions at the start of cooking :D A very simple and tasty gravy is your normal instant gravy add some peppercorns and then some double cream,(about 3 parts gravy 1 part cream)add the cream to hot gravy not boiling once added bring to the boil :) this gravy is nice without the peppercorns also. hope this helped and was the info you were looking for. if not just cyber slap me and i will try again :/

Ok thanks. yeah i do have a owners manual and a well used 1 now after i looked for a Fuse 28 IIRC LMAO....And a bit embarrased :/

Yea by trade was all i wanted to do so went to collage did many different courses around the main one then off i went into the big wide world lol catering is a amazing fun trade to be in but unfortunatly i didnt see my children,not even a little bit so i gave it up. i miss my old job every day still after 2 years but it was the right desision to leave as now my kids know me

As i will probally be asking a few questions on these forums i figuerd its only polite to offer advice on what im good at which is cookery :/ was in the trade for 7 years at a high lvl (micthelin star) and am a complete foodie so if you have any questions or would like any tips i will be happy to help.

Hey bought my first Gal after years of my wife trying to convince me they are worth having,finaly gave in and glad i have :rolleyes:. 1 small problem though the dash board lights dont light up when i have my external lights on or any of the lights on the doors eg electrik window lights. Things i have tried. Read the threads on this these forums and cant find anything to help ;) tried to make sence of the fuses (im worse with car maintance than i am at spelling) If anyone has and help i would be most gratefull Cheeers !! ! !!
