If anyone is wondering if their engine can run on veg oil, try looking at the Elsbett site they have a pretty comprehensive list of popular diesel engines and will confirm whether you need a single or twin tank (using DERV as a pilot fuel) system

Just a note of caution guys. Anyone using veg oil or other seed oils should be aware that unlike mineral oils, veg oils will adsorb water from the atmosphere. This could lead to potential plugging problems in cold weather, veg oilalso has a higher waxing point than DERV. The simple solution is to keep your tank topped up and avoid any ullage (free space)
