Hi Everybody, Having read many of the posts on these forums I have finally gotten around to saying hello. HELLO I am on my second Galaxy now, the first was a company car, 2.3 (Petrol) Zetec on a 51 plate. What a great car. I had that for 4 years with very little trouble, other than when the mechanic forgot to rettach the air flow meter whilst doing an air filter change. I had great delight in pointing that out to the workshop manager when he came out to investigate my 'poor running' problem immediately after picking up after a service. I even let him keep the mechanics screwdriver that had been left inside the engine bay! I then defected (for tax reasons more than anything else) to a Vauxhall Zafira. My wife missed the 'old gal' (affectionately known as Rosi, due to the registration letters / numbers RO51). So when her Discovery was too long in the tooth it was traded in for an '06 Tdi Auto. She is now a very happy bunny. Regards for now, Richard

Hello, I have an 06 plate TDi Auto, this intermittently experiences a loss of power whilst driving. If you stop the vehicle, wait several seconds and restart the problem has gone. Seemed to happen when I first had the car, this time last year, then seemed to go away. Now it has done it several times recently. Possibly related to the colder weather? No engine lights come on to indicate a problem, the car is still under FordDirect warranty, they have 'checked' it twice but can find no fault, as it only manifests itself intermittently I can understand why this might be difficult. To the original poster, is your problem always there or intermittent? Regards, Richard
