  1. Changed the battery twice now - garage telling us the battery needs changing. Don't think its that - so why does the immobiliser occasionally kick in???
  2. Our keyfob no longer blips the car (Can't afford a replacement either). We have to open the doors using the key. We know have a problem when sometimes we've opened the car got in and it won't start - the immobiliser is on. It will take a few minutes of locking/unlocking the car from inside, actually getting out and locking/unlocking the doors before the immobiliser will allow the car to start. any bright ideas whats wrong ?
  3. ok an update. DH too the car apart yesterday. and one side has siezed. Great cheers of joy could be heard around Biggleswade. He then set about the item with a hammer shattering off the bit that holds it to the bulkhead and one of the support struts and hey prest
  4. next stupid question. How does one get into the engine compartment to remove the linkages?

  6. Hello from me and I apologise if this is too much of a girlie question. I have an X reg galaxy 2.3 manual and the front wipers have stopped working. If I lift them from the window they work fine but when they lay on the window they judder and find it difficult to move. I local garage (without looking at the car) had suggested the mechanism need to be replaced. Price quoted is
