My wipers slowed to a halt today and after searching on here this method is what I used. Seems to have done the trick for now as the driver's side of the linkage is no longer running hot. Obviously not as good as complete removal and dismantling of the linkage but will see how long this fix lasts.

Have always fitted the same spec as came on the car originally. However just checked the handbook and you're right. H95 or W97 in 215/55/16. XL obviously. Wish I'd known earlier, could have saved myself a few quid. Thanks for the tip.

On the front, got 22k out of the original Michelin Pilots which wore out on the inside edge. Replaced with Avon ZV5 which were very grippy but only lasted 8k and balded on the inside. Got the tracking checked and it wasn't out by much... Currently running Pirelli P7 which have so far done 4k and are still on 6.5mm all round. They are a hard tyre though which means the handling isn't as good as on the Michelins or Avons.

Is there a long term solution to this problem as I've had to dismantle my trim twice now to reconnect the tubing. Always seems to pop off post winter frost. It's a pain.

Hi all, can anyone tell me me whether the oil filter for an 05 plate 2.3 auto is a spin on cartridge or paper filter? Also, how do you get access to it - presuming from underneath with the undertray removed? Thanks

Went to the dealer to pick up a touch up stick. Gave reg no and apparently my car is Shadow Blue. Dealer told me that there is a known problem with the Shadow Blue touch ups in that they're non metallic so he gave me some paint that he'd had made up - perfect match and excellent service from my local dealer

Ink Blue - that looks like my car. Has a slight turquoise tinge under lights in the dark as well Bit annoyed that you have to buy all those fixings for the tonneau cover - thought it would be a simple clip in effort...don't know if I dare start cutting holes in the trim

Morning everyone - picked up our Galaxy on Friday (an 05 plate 2.3 Ghia auto with multimedia) and have a few questions. i) Did mainly urban and town running on Saturday and returned around 19.5mpg average. Did a 300 mile round trip (80% motorway) and this rose to 28.5mpg on Sunday. Aircon on full blast both days - are these figures reasonable for this engine or can I expect any improvement? (engine has only done 12k) ii) My car is a navy metallic - any idea what this blue is called so I can buy a touch up stick? (I will get the paint code from under the bonnet at some point) iii) Is it possible to play the DVD player through the main speakers as opposed to just the supplied headphones? I'm guessing not as neither the audio or multimedia guide makes any mention of this iv) I'd like to get a tonneau cover for the boot area. Do I just need to buy the blind and it will fit easily or do I have to buy various fixings as well to attach to the interior? Thanks in advance for any help with these queries
