I got someone to read the codes. It says: Speed sensor Is this something that can be in-expensive changed ? IceBoy PS. Car sat on driveway for weeks now?

This morning for the first time....the autobox would not shift from 2nd. It stayed like this for about 5 mins......I continued driving very slowl around my estate this morning and then all of a studden back to normal again. What causes this? Is it the begining of something worse to come? Is it going to be expensive ? Car has done 79k... Help IceBoy

Hi All, My side lights have gone....yes both of them now ! How do I change them? Do I undo the complete light and pull it out or is there a way from behind the wheel. If I turn the wheel I can put hand and get to the side light......how do I get it out - turn it, pull it ???? Help much appreciated. IceBoy

Hi All, My drivers side window does not work any more...I get a slight buzz/blitz but nothing moves....If I try to wind it down again the hazzards flash for 3 times and then nothing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. IceBoy

Hi All, I have noticed that sometimes the Gal feels like it has a CVT multitronic gearbox ! EG....there is only one gear....the revs dont seem to drop and rise much when acclerating. Then sometimes you can feel the the gears and the revs droping ? Could this be the cluth on the way out? Help much appreciated. IceBoy

Hi All, I was in a bit of a hurry and did some fairly brisk motoring on the motorway and A roads for about 45 miles. I probably averaged about 18mpg....so that might give you an idea of the style of driving adopted. This morning the turbo seems to be whistling rather than whooshing ?? Help.....getting worried now? Hello All, Hope everyones Gal's are fine ? I can't seem to reset the service indicator in the dash? I have followed the format in the FAQ 3 times...still no luck. Any other ideas? IceBoy

Now I'm confused ! If the front A/c is set to cold....the rear dial to cold and fan in position 2-3 should the back blow cold A/C air ?? Cheers IceBoy

Hi All, The front is blowing nice and cold but the air vents in the back on the bottom rear side are warm ? It is all set to cold. Any ideas? IceBoy

Got a new bulb.....changed the fuse ! Now working.....but I think the bulb that has been given to me was wrong !!! 5w in sted of 4w....looks like one side has it brake light on. SO will go and get correct bulb later. TTFN IceBoy

Hi All, I changed the side light bulb on the drivers side rear and it still does not work? The bulb was from a local petrol station but I don't know if the Gal requires a special bulb or something ?????? What else can I check??? Help. IceBoy
