hi all im having a mare fitting mudflaps to my 02 gal has anybody got any tips on how its done? i cant even get the rear clips to go on right i feel like a complete idiot as the instructions are not very helpful at all. some pics on which way the clips would be really helpful. cheers for any help :rolleyes:

hi all, when i've been driving the gal for a while and maybe let it idle for min or 2 then select reverse i get a weird kind of clunking slipping noise( kind of hard to describe but you can feel it through the pedals) its sounds like its coming from the gearbox. it only happens now and again when the cars been on a run always in reverse its really weird but sounds costly. Not had the car long and have a short warranty on it just wondering if anybody got any ideas on what it could be rather than me saying "my cars got a weird noise coming from it" lol I have paper work to say flywheel and clutch replaced within the last year also but the garage who done this are miles away from where i live. anyway thanks in advance its a 02 1.9tdi manual 115bhp. cheers austin

hi after sorting out my audio problems i have for sale a ford rds 5000 head unit with code please note though that this is from a mondeo so wont fit a galaxy

well it turned out not too be the head unit after all so must be wires or speaker ;) all ok if i fade just to the back left but if i fade to front left it sounds like a blown speaker and that affects the rear speakers as well either the tweeter or passenger speaker any tips on how to check? cheers austin

well what can i say they the dogs managed to get myself a set and good to go ;) one question though what pressures are you guys putting into the tyres and could you recomend for full load pressures also? cheers austin

Hi all, i have a problem on the left hand side of the car on all speakers like they are popping as if there is too much base going through them. had it have been one speaker then it would be that but since its all speakers from the tweeter to the rear just on the left i figured its the head unit. Off to ebay i go and order one which i am still waiting for however whilst im browsing this site i come accross a thread which informs me that the galaxy radios are more square! Guess which one i got coming? :ph34r: So do you think i could swop the fronts on the radios around or not a good idea? Also has anybody else had this sort of problem if so was it the head unit or something else? cheers austin forgot to say gal 1.9 tdi ghia 02 reg Add to that if it is the radio and nothing else and i cant change the fronts around is there any nice person who got one knocking about who would like to donate the cause for a skint dippy galaxy owner who bought the wrong radio :ph34r:

Iths makes you wonder why ford dont do them,when you planning on doing them? could you post back on how much its cost you and how easy the fit was. cheers austin

wow got an uncle who has this problem on his p reg gal will have to let him know it really does his head in lol

dealerships are a joke i once had the very same problem and went to my local ford they charged
