2005 Galaxy 1.9tdi 123k miles. This has been happening for a while but has started to get a lot worse the last couple of weeks, it's been suffering from a loss of power, as when I try to overtake or accelerate quickly the car starts to loose power as if its running out of diesel for a few seconds then picks up until desired speed is reached, happening in all gears, any ideas.

Hi, I have a 1.9 tdi 05, only when accelerating it feels like its running out of diesel, but at a constant speed or light acceleration it’s fine. As soon as I give it throttle the judder how best to describe it is felt. Could this be the turbo is on its way out or injectors blocked.

Ok have done a search on the forum and found only half a story, have been told by a mechanic it’s a common problem and need to get a new / recon box. When decelerating in 5th there is a whine from the gearbox, pushing the clutch pedal down makes the noise disappear, it doesn't do it in any other gear. Does anyone know if it is a bearing on its way out, and can I use Molyslip Gearbox Protector with a change of new oil to see if the noise go's.

Confused is the under statement i know i need a new clutch pulley so looked on GSF and was confronted with 2 different types, rang the office and they said you wont know till you take it of best buy the 2 and return the 1 you don't use, any one got any ideas they didnt even know what the difference was. Sorry if this is in the wrong place but i could not post it in the MKII section. All the lights on the dashboard have gone out, the owners guide book says it is Fuse No 28 violet but when i checked there is int one in there. where is the fuse for the Instrument Lighting on a 55 ford Galaxy, Many thanks

Hi all, need some help, the reverse aid sensors on the car don't seam to work any more when you put it in reverse it just gives out a single tone and after about 5sec goes of but the switch still flashes. Thanks for the replies
