I had the same problem with my Alhambra TDI. Both pedal switches were OK. The problem was a broken 'cruise set' wire where the wires pass into the indicator stalk (I assume the cruise control switches are in the indicator stalk, on your car). Switching the right indicator on brought the broken wire ends together and the cruise control worked! Remove the column top cover (around the hazard light switch) and you can see the wires, where they lead to the indicator stalk. Cost of a new indicator / wiper / hazard switch assembly; >
