1. Thanks for the input. It wasnt halloween night, its been happening for a while now. You'd think that if this is a common occurance that Quick Fitters etc.... would suggest having the rims cleaned properly, before fitting new costly tyres!!!!(
2. I understand that loss of air from tyres can actually be air loss through the alloy wheels! Is this true? If it is - is there a sealant that can be pumped into tyre through the valve -- like the sealer used when tyre is flat due to puncture? many thanks
3. Hi, Had same problem. Found out that the arial had become detached from off side rear window. Have a look! Might be the same.

8. Had a thought earlier!!!! So looked at aerial connector to rear passenger window. Opened it and found the connector had become detached, reattached it and it appears to have solved the crackling !!!!Looks like it wasnt making proper contact, just barely touching when window was closed. Does the FM waveband use a different aerial, as this was never affected? Any views on this? Cheers
9. There is really bad interference on radio on AM.(FM seems o.k.) Not quite so bad cruising, but when using higher revs its unbearable. Saw thread that mentions fixing earth lead from engine to body? Can anyone help?
10. Thanks Chazy. Hope to hear soon.
11. There is'nt any response apart from continuous buzzing when reverse is engaged. I AM ASSUMING THAT IT IS THE CONTROL BOX. Where can you get these fairly cheaply? Any ideas please? Cheers Sadgunner
12. Can you help please? My Galaxy Mk2 2003 tdi 130 hasnt any parking sensors, just a continuous bleep when reverse is engaged, no light / or control on de-activating switch on dash. Happened after i took car to garage to have nearside strut bush replaced.I know that he removed front plastic fascia under bonnet to get at rusted nut on top of strut. He also re-attached rear washer tube under front sill! Could water have seeped in any controls? Before it went to garage it worked perfectly. Can anyone help please. Cheers Sadgunner
