For sale due to company car arriving next week.... 76,500 miles, tax Feb 2010, MOT Jan 2010, 2 previous owners, Alloy Wheels, Air conditioning, Remote Locking, Captains seats, tow bar, heated front and rear screens, Alarm and immobiliser, cd player, power steering, rear picnic tables, factory tinted rear glass; this year I have replaced 3 of the tyres, alternator, and drivers seatbelt.

Not found it, but I have rung 3 local auto locksmiths who can supply and code new transponder chip for

That'll be what I'm missing, nothing in mine, I've searched round the kitchen floor and units but to no joy. Looks like I'm going to a locksmith tomorrow.......

What would the chip look like / where is it on the remote key? Really confused now.

I have managed to lose the immobiliser programming in one of my keys, i think when I was changing the battery in the fob. Any ideas how I can get it back, or am I looking at a trip to main dealers? I've read the key reprogramming in the manual, but unfortunately this needs 2 working keys and a third blank. I've only got 2- one working and now one not working. Car is a 2002 zetec Auto. Any advice / suggestions gratefully recieved!

I've got a few electrical problems which I am hoping may all be related? Dashboard Information area (where it has outside temp / warning messages / what gear) - has stopped working completely, Drivers side mirror (won't move, but passenger will!), Passenger window (can control with drivers side switch but not passenger side) Drivers window (when going up may stop and start going down instead!) Parking sensors just beep at me and don't sense! The top 2 have just happened, the bottom 3 have been ongoing for a while. Anyone got any ideas?

Good news is the Rear Washer is now working..... However the floor is absolutely soaked, so the parking sensors must be completely goosed! Still no progress on the passenger window though, and the drivers side one touch up has given up the ghost, although this seems to work again in the wet, almost as if the window seal is making it stick....

Well it looks like I was a bit optomistic about the parking sensor unit being dry, Just felt it again after checking why the rear wash doesn't work and it feels very damp, either that or it was from the mother in law dropping a can of coke in the back! Do I need to buy a new unit, how much are they? I've had a feel around and cannot seem to find the pipe for the washer pipe near the sensor unit, I am looking in the right place?

I have a 2002 2.3 Zetec, which I have owned for about 2 weeks. The pasenger side electric window doesn't work from the passenger switch, but does from the drivers side. Is this likely to be the switch, or just a fuse? Has anyone had anything similar? I've also got problems with the parking sensors, they just beep continually and the light flashes. I have read the other posts so I have checked the control box and the unit is dry, and I can get a clicking noise if I run my finger over the sensors. I've had a similar problem on a 3 series BMW, but that was fixed under warranty so I've got no idea how is was sorted. Any help would be really appreciated....
