A warning from the Picasso Site ...... Over the last few days it has become apparent that a defective batch of Petrol is being sold in the South East and South London. There are reports from various Citroen, Land Rover, Mercedes, SAAB and Vauxhall dealers of cars suddenly starting to run rough and stalling a few days after refuelling, far too many to be coincidental. In each case it was found that Lambda Sensors had been coated with a deposit from the fuel which renders them unserviceable. The long term affect on the catalysts has not been explored. Sources of this fuel has been identified as Morrisons, Asda, Tescos and Total over the last 10 days.
