  1. Hi, I have tried most on them the blue tints the Osram Silverstar and the Philips Vision Plus, the best one I have come across is Philips Power 2 Night. There not cheap, but give you a really white bulb, but what I will say is, after you fit them, get a head light aliment check. Mark
  2. While booking my car to go in again, a gent at the reception on the dealer heard me going on about my power loss. When I got out side to my car he was waiting for me, he explained that he has got the same Galaxy as mine, which was parked next door to me, and he had the same problem with power loss, and the car had gone in loads of times, but they couldn
  3. Hi Seatkid, Yes that was my first thought re pulling off vacuum pipes, but they said they had double checked that. Re the oil, I took my own Millers oil in. I also thought that if they had over filled, then the cat might be damaged. ???? Mark

  5. Hi Mark, I had mine refilled two months ago, the car was a year old this june just gone, but saying that I use my air con all the year round, for demisting etc. I use to be a grease monkey, till I had a accident in work which has left me in a wheelchair, and I hate funny noises, but now I can't do nothing about it and I have got to leave it to the dealers, its dame frustrating, when you know that the dealers get the car in and it sits around for a hour in the workshop do naff all, then they come back and say sorry sir, we can't find any problem. Sorry glad I got that off my chest. :) Regards, Mark :)

  8. Last Christmas I had a council lorry driver drive straight into my then 6 month old Galaxy  and the Galaxy proved it could take a front end crash will fairly limited damage, I was told by the dealer that the front end is like the old volvo
  9. Thanks Andy, Any idea what the Ford dealer would fit, they could tell you anything while you are in the reception. This car is on Motability so it serviced and looked after by the local Ford dealer. Cheers, Mark
  10. I have got a 02 Galaxy 19TDI auto, my problem is on the first 10,000 service the dealers changed the rear brakes pads as the brake warning light was on, since the service, I have had a problem with the brakes squeaking, but only when they are warmed up? I have taken the car back to the dealer three times now to check the brakes and disc, each time they cant find anything wrong, but each time they rub the pad and disc slightly in case there is any glazed built up but every time soon as the brakes are warm they start squeaking again. Anyone got any ideas? I have given up with the dealer because I know its going to come exactly the same. Now every time I drive it, the brakes are doing my head in. :)
  11. Jennyt, The one thing that I would change on my newish Galaxy, would be changing the position some how of the O/S front windscreen post, when going around a right hand bend, you get a blind spot. I don't know how it can be changed , but thats what you pay for. Mark
