Hi all, I have a 1998 Alhambra tdi done 173,000 mile and although I'm still getting good economy the engine is sounding tired. I had a new gearbox fitted (from scrap yard) last year coz 3rd crunched and it still crunches on this one !! What I need to know is where can I find a tdi engine or engine & gearbox and will it really fit straight in if I use an engine out of a Galaxy or Sharan or is this just a myth, will the engine management work and is there any other cars out there with and engine or engine & box that will fit without too much trouble, is someone selling a damaged one that I can take an engine from (so many questions :( I'd appreciate any help that anyone can give me on this because I'm doing about 2000 miles per week and worried that its gonna pop Thanks mac
