hi just disconnected the tmap sencor seems to have got better surley it would get worse ,cheers for your help spacecowboy :)

1. Change your air filter if its not been changed recently 2. Was the "new" MAF sensor new? i.e. Is it the correct type bought from a dealer or did you buy off Ebay :( - that could be a "cleaned up" old MAF that is still duff. 3. Change your vacuum hoses - dont look at them. hi ,i have changed the air filter last week the maf was from gsf its a pembroke model ,it does not fill like the turbo is kicking in ,thanks for your help ,spacecowboy :blink:

hi guys i am running a galaxt tdi 2001,recently lost power on hills i changed the maf sencor its got better :Dbut still wont pull on hills 50mph checked the vacum hoses all look ok any ideas,spacecowboy

hi ,also check e bay ,picked up a brand new ford original tdi fuel filter for a tenner inc postage ,spacecowboy :)

as long as you have a good tool-kit axle stands etc if in doubt dont do it :D the process is slightly different if air-con or not, but depending on your ability a haynes manual should point you in the right direction

hi welcome, are your fans cutting in as normal, when you say heater not working , is it blowing air or not working at all hi, fans are working ok the heater is stone cold and the bottom hose drivers side attached to the rad is cold ? :)

HI ,CAN ANYBODY HELP ME ,I AM DRIVING A GALAXY TDI ,YESTERDAY GOING UP A HILL IT STARTED OVERHEATING ,STOP LIGHTS CHECK COOLANT ETC .TOPPED UP COOLANT FINE ON TICK OVER BUT OVER HEATS WHEN ENGINE IS LOADED,HEATER STOPPED WORKING AS WELL .REMOVED THERMOSTATE STILL NO HEATER STONE COLD ,BOT TEMP SEATS AT 90 STILL .BOTTOM HOSE DRIVERS SIDE STONE COLD AS WELL AS HOSE COMING FROM THERMOSTATE HOUSING ,ANY IDEAS ,SPACECOWBOY.
