Hi I have a Ford Galaxy 1.9tdi late 1999 model, recently I noticed when I press the brake pedal and release it, I hear a very irritating high pitch sound - if I touch the pedal slightly, the sound disappears, the brakes work fine...please advise many thanks Mario

Key in drivers door lock was a bit stiff, I forced it and now rotates freely will not activate the lock ;) , key works normally in passenger & rear door and central locking mech (non -remote) opens and locks all doors. Reading on various forums, I understand that I will probably require a door lock barrel repair kit to put this right... I am not very sure if is this a DIY job and where can I purchase this kit (I am trying to avoid Fords for obvious reasons...) many thanks Mario :( --------------------------------------
